DEPENDENT HEALTH CARE ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION
By now you should have received correspondence from the Eighth District Benefit Fund and HMS requesting that you verify your dependents eligibility to continue healthcare coverage. They are requiring you to submit documents showing proof of eligibility for each dependent. It is imperative that the fund has accurate information and these required documents have to be submitted by February 19, 2021. If you did not receive the letter or have further questions please contact the fund immediately at 844-989-321.
As we welcome 2021, a year many of us have been waiting for, we will continue to protect and work to grow the organized labor movement for workers in Idaho and beyond. Our strength as Union members will continue to grow as our organizing efforts continue as a top priority. Making workers and their families lives better will always be at the forefront of our existence.
January will see legislative sessions starting up and we will need to recognize threats to weaken our unions and educate ourselves on these issues to overcome these attacks. Paying attention to politics is not always easy or fun, but it is so important in all we do, and we need to know and act when our beliefs and ideals are being jeopardized.
Hopefully in this New Year, we will soon see a return to our in-person monthly meetings and all other committee meetings and events. We can all help to get there by following CDC and State and Local health ordinances. Protect yourself, protect others, wear a mask when required.
