The Organizer attended the most recent Electrical Board Meeting, which last for a considerable amount of time. Neogitated rule making will be delayed until the Legislature ends the session. Ratios and Rules for the Industry currently do not include supervision of apprentices, or a ratio of Journeyman to Apprentice.

Telecommunications:
Telecom would like to thank Sharla Root and her team of Stewards for their efforts last week.
We've seen a reduction in investigation volume due to new procedures by the Company which is always good news for the workforce.
No new information to report regarding the Corporate changes with TPG/ATT
Legislative Affairs:
The Budgets for the State Government are still uncertain as the House and Senate remain divided on the effort. The House continues to decline as much Federal money as they can ( Remember, this is from Taxes YOU pay ), and continue to bicker over the seperation of powers. Please get involved, the Legislature has attacked electrical licensing and requirements for several consecutive years now and eventually the damm will break without your support and engagement.
Business Manager:
The 40th IBEW Convention was moved from September of 2021 to May of 2022.
Remember this week's Union Meeting includes an allocation of Funds the Inside Agreement.
