This is your Weekly Update for 4/28/2021
From the Office Staff:
Please make sure your contact information is up to date. This information should include your email address, your phone number, and your physical/mailing address. The Hall needs this information to ensure you receive information that could be vital to our lives as Union members.
Reminder: Please keep your Dues current. Dues are required to be paid monthly, or quarterly in advance. The Staff would appreciate timely handling of your Dues. Members being behind can causes additional work for the Staff.
Mask Mandate: The Hall currently has a mask requirement when visiting. The City of Boise's Mask Mandate remains in affect, and as we are located in Boise, the Hall will follow and enforce the guidelines. We understand there is a wide assortment of opinions on the topic, if you could please help us remain open and in compliance with the requirements from the city of Boise, we and all of your fellow Sisters and Brothers would appreciate it.

From the Telecommunications Representative:
AT&T continues to grow. We experienced our 2nd consecutive month of 100% Union membership in our New Hire Orientations. Desirae Johnson's changes and efforts to the Program we operate for Orientations have been well received, and the Local appreciates her hard work and effort. Thanks Dez!
We have experienced in a slow down in investigations due to some changes in how Management approaches discipline. That reprieve from dozens upon dozens a week is welcome, and we appreciate Management's thoughtfulness in making those changes to better respect our Members and the Workers at ATT.
The Company is still working through the transition of the new Subsidiary creation, Directv by TPG, and we will provide updates as they become available.
Political Affairs:
Nothing new to report. The Staff is participating in Electrical Board Meetings. We should all wish them the best of health as they travel that journey. The ongoing effort to protect our Craft is taken seriously, and we would appreciate the support of our Membership should the need arise.
From the Business Manager:
Stay Safe in your workplace, go home the same way you showed up!
The Summer Picnic has been cancelled.
The search for a Training Director is ongoing.
